Sanctuary
Webster's Dictionary defines sanctuary as a safe place, a refuge. The wombs of our Mothers were safe places. We remember that safe place and spend the rest of our lives looking, fighting , and competing for it to regain if only for a moment that sense of refuge only found in our Mother's womb. We are not secure outside of that womb and knowing we are never ever going to get back in we convince ourselves we are satisfied with the artificial ones we create around ourselves, but we aren't. So we create these after-worlds in our minds that promise us of the womb of all wombs after we die. I don't think we realize this womb fixation thing motivates us and consumes us.
